Cancelling your order
Last updated: 31 August 2026
This page separates two things that are often muddled together: the rights the law gives you, which are not the same in every country we ship to, and the guarantee we give you ourselves, which is.
United Kingdom — your statutory right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have 14 days from the day you receive your order to cancel it, without giving any reason. You then have a further 14 days to send the goods back, and we refund you within 14 days of receiving them — to the payment method you used.
You do not have to use the form below. Any clear statement that you wish to cancel is valid. The form exists so that you never have to work out what to write, and so that your statement carries the date you send it.

To: Roambury — Animouf LLC — hello@thecatcarrier.com

— Order number: (shown on your confirmation email)
— Consumer’s name: (your name)
— Consumer’s address: (your address)
— Date: (today’s date)
A signature is only needed if you send this form on paper.
Australia — your consumer guarantees
Australia does not give a general right to change your mind on an online purchase. What it gives you instead is stronger where it matters, and it cannot be signed away:
This wording is prescribed by the Competition and Consumer Regulations 2010. It is reproduced exactly, and nothing on this site limits it.
New Zealand — the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
As in Australia, there is no general cooling-off period for buying online in New Zealand. The Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 gives you the right to a repair, replacement or refund if goods are not of acceptable quality, are unfit for their purpose, or do not match how they were described. Those rights cannot be contracted out of when you are buying as a consumer, and nothing here attempts to.
Canada — provincial consumer protection
Consumer protection in Canada is set province by province, and there is no single federal cooling-off period for ordinary online purchases of goods. Your provincial consumer protection legislation applies to your order, alongside the guarantee below. If your province gives you a right that is more favourable than our guarantee, that right applies.
Everywhere — our 30-day satisfaction guarantee
This one is ours, not the law’s, and it is the same in all four countries. You have 30 days from delivery to send a carrier back for any reason, including changing your mind. It runs longer than the UK statutory right and covers more than the guarantees in Australia and New Zealand, which only bite when something is wrong with the goods. Full terms are on our Returns and refunds page.
What happens next
- We acknowledge your cancellation by email, without delay.
