How we check what we publish
Every number on this site comes from somewhere, and this page says where.
Dimensions
The external dimensions of both carriers are taken from the measurements printed on the manufacturer's own gallery drawings, not from a category page or a rounded figure. They are given in centimetres, unrounded: 42 × 34 × 27 for the backpack, 40 × 26 × 22 for the shoulder carrier.
Airline rules
We read the published pet policy of each airline flying in the countries we ship to, and we date the table on the page. These policies move — Virgin Australia only opened its cabin to pets in 2025 — so a table without a date is worse than no table.

Reviews
The reviews we publish come from buyers of this exact product, one review per buyer, in their own words. The average is calculated on the reviews shown.
Three places we give you the number instead of a badge
- Cabin size. An airline publishes an envelope, not an approval. We print that envelope next to our dimensions, so the comparison is yours to make.
- Load. The manufacturer certifies 15 kg on the backpack’s straps and seams. That is a structural rating for the bag, and we publish it as one.
- Veterinary advice. Where a question asks what vets recommend, we describe what veterinary organisations publish, and we say that is what we are doing.
